How We Track Your Progress

Assessment isn’t about grades – it’s about understanding where you stand and where you’re headed. We use multiple methods to help you visualize your growth and identify areas for targeted practice.

Portfolio Reviews

Every four weeks, we meet to review your latest work. These conversations help identify patterns in your development and highlight moments of progress you may have overlooked.

Monthly Sessions

Practical Skill Tests

Short, focused exercises that let you demonstrate specific techniques. Think of them as friendly challenges – can you produce smooth gradations? Draw a cube in perspective? These help us both gauge your technical progress.

Bi-weekly Exercises

Peer Feedback Sessions

Sometimes fellow students notice details instructors might miss. These structured group discussions train you to analyze artwork constructively while gaining fresh perspectives on your own work.

Weekly Groups

Self-Reflection Projects

You’ll document your artistic journey through written reflections and comparison studies. This metacognitive approach helps you become aware of your own learning process and artistic choices.
